When you
become a member of Friends of Aberdeen YMCA you
will be associating yourself with sustaining and equipping
the Christian ethos of the YMCA in an ever increasing
secular society. Whether that support is in prayer,
pastoral outreach, financial or ambassadorial, you are
making a worthwhile and significant contribution to the
YMCA in Aberdeen for the 21st century.
Friends,
through their donations, support young people affected by
specific social factors to maintain a positive sense of
self-value, self-confidence and self-esteem within a
caring Christian environment. Friends support
ensures that hundreds of un-churched children, youth and
families will avoid social exclusion.
As a
Friend you will be encouraged to build links with the
charity. This could include prayer support, supporting
campaigns, volunteering, helping raise funds or acting as
an ambassador for the charity.
