Amigos is a Thursday evening drop-in cafe for international students in Aberdeen.  We aim to provide a welcoming place where international feel comfortable to be in.  During each evening students can use the YMCA facilities including our sports hall, pool tables, table tennis and PS2s.  There is also tea, coffee, biscuits and juice to enjoy as well as an opportunity to talk to other international students and Amigos Cafe volunteers.  We run theme nights throughout the year.  Last year our theme nights included Chinese New Year celebration as well as a Bonfire night trip to a firework display and Burn's Night celebrations with traditional Scottish food.

If you are here for a term, a year or several years you are welcome to come to Amigos Cafe at Aberdeen YMCA.

Amigos Cafe opens for the 2007/08 session on 11th October 2007 and will be open on Thursdays 7.00pm - 10.00pm.

Entrance fee is £1 for YMCA members

Amigos Cafe is a joint partnership between YMCA and Friends International.

Amigos Cafe operates between October and June.
